Description

I am currently trying check in a large set of recursive patches into RTEMS CVS.

cvs commit however frequently aborts with errors when multiple
recursive directories are involved:

Example:
# cd c/src/ada-tests
# cvs commit -m 'Merger from trunk.'
...
cvs commit: Examining tmtests/tmoverhd
Checking in sptests/sp08/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp08/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
Checking in sptests/sp09/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp09/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.3.2.1; previous revision: 1.3
done
Too many arguments!
Checking in sptests/sp11/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp11/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
cvs [server aborted]: received broken pipe signal

# cvs commit -m 'Merger from trunk.'
...
vs commit: Examining tmtests/tmoverhd
Checking in sptests/sp12/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp12/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
Checking in sptests/sp13/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp13/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
Checking in sptests/sp14/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp14/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
Checking in sptests/sp15/Makefile.am;
/usr1/CVS/rtems/c/src/ada-tests/sptests/sp15/Makefile.am,v <-- Makefile.am
new revision: 1.2.2.1; previous revision: 1.2
done
Too many arguments!
cvs [server aborted]: received broken pipe signal

... To be continued ...

Do I need to mention that I find tbis VERY embarressing and annoying and far from being usable?

State-Changed-Why: I committed a LOT of stuff over the past day or so and haven't

see a hiccup yet. So I am going to cross my fingers and close
this one.
