66RTEMS has a policy to support current host operating systems, development tools and third party libraries where possible. The ability of the project to maintain all releases using the good will of RTEMS contributors is not possible and so resources are directed to the keeping RTEMS up to date. As stated above older releases can be maintain if you require it but you will have to fund that work.

10 The RTEMS Project recommends that you use use CVS to access our current development sources.  Every attempt is made to keep the CVS head compilable and working on all targets but there are no guarantees.  The CVS head is used to test bleeding edge tools and is always moving in features and stability.

12 Snapshot releases are occasionally cut from the head of the CVS tree.  When cut, they will be announced to all mailing lists and placed on the RTEMS ftp site.
    13
14 The RTEMS Build server builds RTEMS each day to see if it compiles. You can check the status of a specific build as well as download the source. Open this link to the [http://www.rtems.org/ftp/pub/rtems/people/chrisj/pq/html/ Build Results Summary Table], select a target then select a date link. This will download the CVS source for that day as a BZ2 tar file. If the date field is not a link the source for that day could not be created.
