Libbsd-port

Status: No active volunteers.

This is a project to port more FreeBSD NIC device drivers to RTEMS. Till Straumann has developed the libbsd-port kit which is in the git repository of the same name. It is considered a prototype but a very good and working starting place.

In summary, this kit works and is a great aid to have more recent drivers for the OLD TCP/IP stack. However, long term we want to work to add more drivers and architecture support to the new ​https://git.rtems.org/rtems-libbsd/ TCP/IP stack for RTEMS.
