From my point of view a default prefix of "/usr" on Linux is a bug. I don't have a strong need to change it, I just wanted to make all branches consistent.

The change is fine, but I feel another +1 from Gedare or Joel would be nice.

Since we I have not discussed this since we moved off of RPMs, I don't see a problem with this change. It's just a recommendation and some advice.
