Remove All CVS Id Strings Possible Using a Script

Script does what is expected and tries to do it as
smartly as possible.

+ remove occurrences of two blank comment lines

next to each other after Id string line removed.

+ remove entire comment blocks which only exited to

contain CVS Ids

+ If the processing left a blank line at the top of

a file, it was removed.

217     *   - frequencies can be kept in 16 bit counters
218     *   - if compression is not successful for the first block, all input
219     *     data is still in the window so we can still emit a stored block even
220     *     when input comes from standard input.  (This can also be done for
221     *     all blocks if lit_bufsize is not greater than 32K.)
222     *   - if compression is not successful for a file smaller than 64K, we can
223     *     even emit a stored file instead of a stored block (saving 5 bytes).
224     *     This is applicable only for zip (not gzip or zlib).
225     *   - creating new Huffman trees less frequently may not provide fast
226     *     adaptation to changes in the input data statistics. (Take for
227     *     example a binary file with poorly compressible code followed by
228     *     a highly compressible string table.) Smaller buffer sizes give
229     *     fast adaptation but have of course the overhead of transmitting
